Fribourg Agri&Food at the Goûts & Terroirs Fair
The Goûts & Terroirs Fair, held from 30 October to 3 November at Espace Gruyère in Bulle, welcomed more than 45,000 visitors eager to discover the flavours of the region and explore the latest agri-food innovations. At the heart of this flagship event, Fribourg Agri&Food showcased its commitment to local innovation through a dedicated stand highlighting regional initiatives and the support services available to businesses across the agri-food value chain.
Showcasing Local Innovation
Fribourg Agri&Food put the spotlight on two innovative regional companies: MaSpiruline and Brasse-Mie. Both start-ups embody the spirit of the fair through their commitment to sustainability and innovation.
- MaSpiruline – A local producer of pesticide-free spirulina grown in Saint-Aubin, MaSpiruline showcased the many benefits of this nutrient-rich superfood and surprised visitors with creative tastings, including a spirulina fondue.
- Brasse-Mie – By brewing beer from unsold bread collected from local bakeries, Brasse-Mie demonstrates how innovation and the circular economy can come together to create high-quality, sustainable products.
More than just delighting visitors' taste buds, these companies highlighted inspiring business models that combine local production, innovation, and sustainability.
An Interactive Experience for Visitors
The Fribourg Agri&Food stand offered much more than a traditional exhibition space. Visitors were invited to take part in consumer tests, directly contributing to the development of tomorrow's food products. These activities strengthened the dialogue between producers and consumers while demonstrating how Fribourg Agri&Food supports agri-food businesses from idea to market.
